Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Frontiers in Medical Research (IJFMR) welcomes original scholarly manuscripts that contribute to scientific knowledge and research. Authors are requested to follow the guidelines below to support a consistent process of manuscript evaluation, peer review, and publication.

Scope of the Journal

IJFMR is an international, peer-reviewed, open access scholarly journal that publishes research in scientific and related interdisciplinary areas. The journal considers research in physical and chemical sciences, life and environmental sciences, computer and applied sciences, engineering, emerging technologies, and related interdisciplinary fields.

Submissions should be relevant to the scope of the journal and present a clearly defined research question, appropriate methodology, and scientifically supported findings.

Manuscript Submission

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the Journal's designated submission system. By submitting a manuscript, authors confirm that:

The work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal.
All listed authors have made a meaningful contribution to the work.
All authors have reviewed and approved the submitted version.
The manuscript complies with applicable research and publication ethics.

Formatting Requirements

Manuscripts should follow the following basic formatting requirements:

Tables and figures should be clearly numbered and cited in the manuscript text. Each table and figure should have an appropriate title or caption. Authors should ensure that all visual materials are clear, readable, and relevant to the submitted research.

References and Citations

Authors should provide complete and accurate references for all sources cited in the manuscript.

References should be consistently formatted according to the citation style specified by the Journal.
Every source cited in the text should appear in the reference list.
Every reference listed should be cited in the manuscript.
Authors should verify the accuracy of author names, publication details, page numbers, and DOI information where applicable.
Sources should be cited appropriately to acknowledge previous research and avoid plagiarism.

Ethical Standards

IJFMR follows established principles of research and publication ethics. Authors are expected to maintain research integrity and ethical standards throughout the preparation, submission, review, and publication process.

Authors should:

Properly cite and acknowledge all sources used in the manuscript.
Avoid plagiarism, duplicate publication, redundant publication, and simultaneous submission.
Report research findings accurately and without fabrication or falsification.
Disclose relevant conflicts of interest.
Provide sufficient methodological information to support transparency and reproducibility.
Obtain ethical approval or informed consent where required by the nature of the research.
Follow appropriate standards for authorship and contributorship.
Obtain permission for copyrighted material where necessary.

A similarity check may be conducted on submitted manuscripts. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal's academic, ethical, or publication requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected.
