When an allegation or concern regarding research misconduct is received from an author, reviewer, editor, reader, institution, or other source, the Journal may conduct an appropriate investigation.
Authors may be contacted and given an opportunity to provide an explanation, clarification, supporting documents, or other relevant evidence. Where necessary, the Journal may seek additional information from reviewers, editors, institutions, or other relevant parties.
